Talented and generationally-taught home cooks share treasured family recipes as well as tips and tricks for producing the authentic, spice-laden cuisine of South East Asia. Classes are limited to 10 people per session allowing for a highly personalised approach at individual cooking stations. The Cooking School features Nyonya, Malay, Indian, Thai, and Asian Vegetarian cuisine. Each cooking class booking includes a live guided tour before class of Tropical Spice Garden to view the herbs and spices grown in their natural environment.

A first of it’s kind in Penang, the school is custom-made with individual purpose-built workstations that allows for a memorable hands-on cooking experience.As classes are limited to 10 persons, chefs are able to provide a personalised approach. Though the menus follow authentic and traditional methods they are taught in such a way that you are able to recreate the delicious dishes at home.

  • Please do not wear slippers
  • Children aged 7 and below are not permitted in the Cooking School for safety reasons
